Lisa E. Eskalyo, Psy.D., J.D.
I am a New York State and Connecticut State licensed Psychologist.
I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) and many years of experience as a therapist, which I bring to my practice.
I have also completed two years of advanced training beyond my doctorate as a Post-Doctoral Clinical Psychology Fellow at The National Institute for the Psychotherapies.
My professional experience is varied, and includes both out-patient individual psychotherapy and out-patient group psychotherapy. I have worked at The National Institute for the Psychotherapies, The Psychotherapy and Spirituality Institute, The Peter Krueger Clinic of Beth Israel Medical Center, and the Yaphank Center.
Additionally, I was a Psychological Testing Fellow at The National Institute for the Psychotherapies.
I have also had in-patient hospital experience at Beth Israel Medical Center, and at Pilgrim State Psychiatric Hospital, where I completed an American Psychological Association-approved formal Clinical Internship.
In addition to my degree in psychology, I possess a law degree (J.D.). My background in law also assists me in understanding the particular concerns which attorneys may face as patients.
